Hassam Khalid

Hassam Khalid has extensive experience in the chemical engineering sector, currently serving as Deputy Manager Operations – Utilities & Urea at Engro Fertilizers Limited since August 2015. Responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of critical plant systems such as gas turbines and water treatment facilities. Previous roles include Deputy Manager Operations for a significant ammonia-urea manufacturing complex, as well as Operations Engineer positions for both urea and ammonia plants, with a focus on process optimization and troubleshooting. Initial experience includes a graduate trainee role at Engro Fertilizers and other internships in production and research & development at Engro Foods and Fatima Group. Hassam Khalid holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab, earned in 2014.
