Mujtaba Mehdi

Mujtaba Mehdi is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in process engineering and management. Currently serving as GM Technical at Engro Corp since February 2021, Mujtaba previously held the position of Principal Process Engineer at Worley, where responsibilities included providing engineering services for capital projects in olefins and polyethylene manufacturing. As Process Section Manager at SIPCHEM, Mujtaba led a team of 20 engineers, focused on process safety, profit margin improvement, and product diversification, while also conducting revamp studies and risk analyses. At ENGRO Chemical Pakistan Ltd, Mujtaba managed a team of six engineers to develop comprehensive engineering strategies. Mujtaba started the career as an Operations Engineer at Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited. Educational qualifications include an M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Dalhousie University and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
