Umar Khan

Umar Khan is an experienced chemical engineer currently serving as Deputy Manager of Process Engineering at Engro Corp since February 2021, where leadership in a $300 million pressure enhancement facilities project at Mari Gas Field resulted in over $10 million in savings through value-added solutions. Prior experience includes working as a Process Engineer at MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co. B.V., overseeing the FEED of an $8 million LPG extraction project and managing a $15 million natural gas compression project. Previously, Umar contributed to proposal development for OGDCL's 15 MMScfd Jhal Magsi amine gas treatment project as a Process Design Engineer and upgraded a $14 million Sofia field development project while employed at OMV. Umar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
