Joosu Kuivanen

Joosu Kuivanen is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as a Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at eniferBio since April 2020, where responsibilities include managing daily operations, IP strategy, public R&D collaborations, financial oversight, fundraising, corporate governance, business development, and HR administration. Previously, Joosu held the position of Board Member at Tampere University and served as a Research Funding Specialist focusing on public research funding applications. Joosu's extensive experience also includes a role as a Research Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, involvement as a Visiting Scientist at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability, and research assistant positions at the Institute of Medical Technology, University of Tampere. Joosu holds a Doctor of Science in Biotechnology from Aalto University and a Master's Degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Tampere.
