David Cairns

David Cairns has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. David began their career at Sir Alexander Gibb & Partners as a Trainee QS / QS from September 1985 to March 1990. Following this, they joined Palmers Scaffolding Ltd as a Surveyor / Estimator from April 1990 to May 1994, and later became the Contracts Manager from June 1994 to June 1996. David then joined Interserve Industrial Services as the Business Development Manager from July 1996 to June 2002, the General Manager from July 2002 to August 2007, and finally the Divisional Commercial Manager from September 2007 to September 2018. David currently serves as the Commercial Director - Access Services at Enigma Industrial Services since October 2018.

David Cairns attended Firrhill High School from 1981 to 1985. Following this, they went to Telford College from 1986 to 1988, where they studied Building Construction Technology. Finally, they attended Edinburgh Napier University from 1988 to 1990, studying Quantity Surveying.
