Nikolaos Tantouris

Nikolaos Tantouris is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Sector Security and Infrastructure at the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) since March 2021, where previous roles include Cybersecurity Officer and Cybersecurity Expert. Prior to ENISA, Nikolaos worked at Alpha Bank as a Cybersecurity and Information Security Architect and as an IT Consultant, contributing to business process and functional specifications analysis. Nikolaos's career also encompasses critical roles at Hellenic Space Systems as Principal Systems Engineer and at Societe Generale as a Risk IT Specialist, where skills in software development, risk modeling, and data optimization were honed. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Robust Failure Detection and Isolation Techniques from the University of Piraeus, along with a Master's in Financial Engineering Systems from the National Technical University of Athens and a Bachelor's in Industrial Management and Technology from the University of Piraeus.
