Theo Dimitrakos

Theo Dimitrakos serves as the R&D Director for Digital Sovereignty, IAM, and Data Security/Privacy at Huawei Technologies since September 2016, specializing in digital sovereignty and data security innovations on a global scale. Additionally, Theo holds the position of Expert in the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Kent, where also serves as Chair of the Advisory Board for the Kent Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Cyber Security. Prior experience includes significant roles at BT as Chief Security Researcher and at STFC as a Senior Researcher. Theo's academic credentials include a PhD in Computing from Imperial College London and an Erasmus placement at KU Leuven in Computing & AI.
