Ruben Ortega is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and advisory roles across various industries. Currently, Ruben serves as a General Partner at Enjoy The Work, where support is provided to founders in becoming effective CEOs through personalized advisory for over 140 startups. Additional advisory positions include roles at Ocado Technology and Karat, as well as a Principal at Elevation 455 LLC, focusing on innovation and management coaching. Previous key roles feature Engineering Site Lead at Pinterest, where engineering teams for Ads and Machine Learning were established, and Vice President of E-Commerce Technology at Nordstrom, overseeing a significant e-commerce operation. Ruben has also served on the Board of Directors at Threshold Group, where contributions led to a successful merger and the establishment of a $12 billion firm.
