Patrick Burke

Patrick Burke is the Vice President of Chemistry at Enlaza Therapeutics, a position held since April 2023. Previously, Patrick spent nearly 18 years at Seagen, where roles spanned from Principal Scientist to Director, focusing on the synthesis of potent camptothecin analogues and drug-linkers for antibody-drug conjugates targeting cancer. Patrick's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder, completed between 1998 and 2003, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, obtained from 1991 to 1995. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral research associate position at Wayne State University under Professor James Rigby, where development of carbene cyclization methodology and synthesis of ingenane derivatives occurred, as well as work as a Process Engineer at Avery Dennison, leading technical aspects of a paper converting line.
