Hakan Gunaydin

Hakan Gunaydin is an experienced professional in the field of computational chemistry, currently serving as Vice President at Relay Therapeutics since September 2018. Previously, Hakan held various positions at Relay Therapeutics, including Senior Director, Director, and Principal Scientist. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Scientist and Associate Principal Scientist at Merck from February 2014 to September 2018, and as Senior Scientist and Scientist at Amgen between April 2009 and February 2014. Hakan began a career in academia at UCLA, serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Student from September 2003 to April 2009. Hakan earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UCLA (2003-2008), a Master's degree in Chemistry from Boğaziçi University (2001-2003), and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Boğaziçi University (1995-2001).
