Christie Vera

Christie Vera is a seasoned Program Manager currently at Enlighten since May 2023, with extensive experience in leading cyber operations and software development initiatives. Christie previously held significant roles at the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, including Software Factory Section Chief and UP Product Section Chief, where effective leadership was demonstrated in managing teams, budgets, and the implementation of Agile methodologies for cyberspace capabilities. Notable accomplishments include establishing cloud environments, transforming product delivery, and overseeing multi-million dollar projects aimed at enhancing data analysis and cybersecurity functionalities. Christie also served as a lead engineer and technical liaison across various branches, contributing significantly to technology advancement within the Department of Defense. Educational qualifications include a Master of Professional Studies in Cyber Security from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
