Sergey Koptyaev

Sergey Koptyaev is a Senior Engineer at Enlightra since December 2022, with previous extensive experience as a Senior Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute Russia from January 2011 to December 2022. Prior to that role, Sergey served as an Engineer at OOO Nanooptika; Nano-Optic Devices, LLC from March 2008 to January 2011, and as a Leading Engineer and Post Doc at the Institute of Physics Czech Academy of Science in Prague from 2005 to 2006. Additionally, Sergey worked as a Research Scientist at the Troitsk Institute for Innovation and Fusion Research from September 1997 to May 2001. Sergey obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Plasma Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology from 1999 to 2004, as well as a Master of Science (MSc) in Plasma Physics from the same institution from 1993 to 1999.
