Scientist at Enliven Therapeutics

Dalton Dacus began their career in 2014 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Kansas State University. Dalton then became a Research Assistant in Dr. Nick Wallace's Lab, where they worked on characterizing the effects of Beta Human Papillomavirus on the Hippo tumor suppressor pathway. In the same lab, they advanced to the role of Postdoctoral Scientist, where they worked on determining the mechanism by which Beta-HPV E6 induces genomic instability independent of UV. During their PhD, they collaborated with multi-disciplinary teams to publish 7 manuscripts on viral-induced cancer biology and had the opportunity to communicate their science at 4 international conferences and organize outreach programs. In 2022, Dalton Dacus began their current role as Scientist at Enliven Therapeutics.

Dalton Dacus received their Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Kansas State University in 2015. Dalton then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology and Cancer Biology at Kansas State University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
