Ian Scott

Dr. Ian Scott has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Ian began their career in 1999 as the Group (Executive) Director, Lead Discovery / Head of Operations at AMRI. In 2005, they joined Acucela Inc. as the Senior Director, Chemistry and Biology. After that, they worked at Spectrum Pharmaceuticals from 2011 to 2014 as the Director of Chemical Development. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Director of Chemical Development at Corcept Therapeutics. In 2019, they worked at Astex Pharmaceuticals as the Senior Director, Process Chemistry and at Pfizer Boulder Research and Development (Array Biopharma) as the CMC Manufacturing Head. In 2020, they were the Head of Process Chemistry at Zentalis Pharmaceuticals and in 2021 they became the VP CMC at Enliven Therapeutics.

Ian Scott obtained a BSc in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield in 1985, followed by an M.Phil in Chemistry from the same institution in 1987 and a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield in 1989.
