Kai Schlegel

Kai Schlegel has been involved in a variety of roles since 2004. In 2004, they worked as a freelancer for Agentur Schyrix. From 2007 to 2009, they were a student employee at dSPACE GmbH, where they worked on configuration and application of dSPACE Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulators, as well as software development for TargetLink. From 2009 to 2010, they were a student assistant at the Institute for Information Systems and Software Engineering at the University of Passau. During this time, they conducted research for an interoperable retrieval on distributed and heterogenous multimedia data, as well as software implementation for MPEG (MPEG Query Format/MPEG-7 part 12), JPEG (JPSearch), and W3C Media Annotations & Fragments Working Group. From 2010 to 2011, they were a research assistant (PhD Student) at the University of Passau. In 2013, they became a partner at Signalwelt. Since 2015, they have been the CTO & Co-Founder of Enmacc GmbH, Europe's fastest growing OTC energy trading platform.

Kai Schlegel obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Universität Passau in 2011, following their Bachelor's Degree in Internet Computing / Computer Science from the same university, which they completed in 2010.
