Janine Dickinson began their work experience in 2002 at Columbia Health Centre, where they worked as a Kinesiologist. Janine'srole involved developing and demonstrating exercise and work simulation programs for workers' compensation board (WCB) clients. Janine also communicated with clients, case managers, physicians, and employers, and educated healthcare professionals on nursing transfer techniques.
In 2003, Janine joined CBI Health Group as a Kinesiologist. In this role, they provided exercise prescriptions for occupational rehabilitation clients to improve their functional ability. Janine maintained regular communication with WCB case managers, employers, doctors, and clients regarding claims. Janine also conducted worksite visits, job coaching, and physical demands analysis with employers in Calgary.
Janine joined Manulife in 2006 as a Disability Case Manager and worked in that role until 2013. Janine'sresponsibilities included managing disability cases and ensuring appropriate support for employees.
From 2013 to 2017, Janine worked at Calgary Laboratory Services as a Return to Work Coordinator and later as a Disability Management Consultant. Janine'sduties involved coordinating the return-to-work process for employees and providing disability management services.
Since 2017, Janine has been working at ENMAX. Janine started as an Ability Management Advisor and later became an Ability Management Specialist. Currently, they serve as the Team Lead for Ability Management and Wellness.
