John Gilfillan

John Gilfillan has over 15 years of work experience in the field of user experience design. John'smost recent role is as the Practice Lead for User Experience at ENMAX. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Manager for Product Design & Creative Services at BlackSquare Inc. and as the Experience Design Lead and Senior UX/UI Designer at Shaw Communications. Before that, they owned their own design and development company called Freely Made. John has also held positions such as Digital Art Director at Commerx Corporation, Web Designer at Bryan Mills Iradesso, Senior Designer at iStockphoto, and Lead Designer at ClickSpace Interactive Inc.

John Gilfillan attended Mount Royal University from 2003 to 2006, studying Electronic Publishing. John also holds a UX Certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group, obtained in 2023.
