Shakeel Khan

Shakeel Khan, P.Eng. is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in advanced distribution management systems and SCADA technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Advanced Distribution Management System Engineer at ENMAX since April 2019, Shakeel provides OMS/MWFM support and technical direction for ADMS upgrades. Previously, as a Grid Technologies Engineer at Portland General Electric, Shakeel led the initiative to implement a new ADMS solution. Additional roles include EMS/SCADA Consulting Engineer at AESO, SCADA Engineer at TransCanada PipeLines Limited, and Project Manager at Husky Energy, along with early career experience as Technical Support Group Leader at Schneider Electric. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Osmania University, and a certificate in PLC and HMI programming from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
