Syed Jafri

Syed Jafri, P.Eng. has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Syed started their career in 2007 as a Technical Support Specialist at GE Multilin Limited, providing worldwide technical support for GE protection and control relays. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Lead Engineer (Protection & Control) at SNC-Lavalin.

In 2012, Jafri joined ENMAX, where they held various roles. Syed started as a Senior Substation Design Engineer and was responsible for creating new methods of supplies, technical design, construction, and equipment content in Substation & Transmission engineering. Syed also led high-profile project escalations and initiated strategic changes to engineering practices and tools.

Later, Jafri became a Senior Lead Engineer in Transmission and Substation at ENMAX. In this role, they provided initial definition of strategic project scopes and guided execution sequences for concurrent projects. Syed also reviewed scope, execution plans, and estimates for critical projects.
