Gaurav has more than 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and has joined Ennismore as Co-CEO. Gaurav began his career at Accor in Australia in 1995, working in operations and finance. In 2000, he moved into network development leading amongst other achievements, the acquisition of Mirvac Hotels & Resorts in Australia and New Zealand and he initiated the partnership with Huazhu in China.
Gaurav was appointed Global Chief Development Officer in 2015 and under his leadership Accor experienced an unprecedented expansion, with the opening of one hotel a day on average and the signing of over 500 hotels a year. Gaurav joined the Accor’s Executive Committee in January 2017 and is a board member of Accor Invest, Huazhu, 25hours, Banyan Tree and Rixos. In October 2020, Bhushan was appointed CEO of the Accor Lifestyle division.
