Robin Moran is the Chief of Human Resources, a position she has held since July 2017. As the leader of Human Resources, Robin oversees Benefits and Compensation, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Staff Development and Training, Volunteer Services, and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Pratt Library.
With a strong belief in a diverse and innovative organizational culture, and under Robin’s direction, Pratt Library recently became the first Baltimore City agency to create and implement the role of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer. As a champion for employee training and development, Robin is an advocate for education and development that builds upon the skills and strengths of current and future leaders in the Pratt organization.
Robin brings a wealth of experience to her role, having completed both her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development. In addition, she is a certified HR professional. Prior to joining the Pratt Library team, Robin served as the Manager, Human Resources for the University of Maryland-Midtown Campus as well as the UM Upper Chesapeake Health Campus in Harford County.
As a child, Robin was a frequent customer of the Pratt Library’s Hamilton Branch and still loves working around books. She enjoys coming to work every day to help ensure that the Library is prepared to provide direction and assistance to its employees and customers of the city of Baltimore.
