Gary Zakon

Gary Zakon has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Gary currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Enolink, a position they have held since February 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Technology Advisor at Empathetics, Inc. from September 2018 to January 2019.

From 2016 to 2018, Zakon held the role of VP of Platform Engineering at Veracode, where they led the DevOps transformation of the Platform Engineering Group and successfully implemented the Scaled Agile Framework across the Engineering and Product Management organization. Veracode was later acquired by CA Technologies.

Before Veracode, Zakon served as the Vice President of Engineering at QPID Health from 2013 to 2016. During their time there, they played a crucial role in launching QPID Health as a commercial company and built a skilled software development team specializing in DevOps, security, data integration, search, NLP/machine learning, UX, and analytics.

Zakon's career also includes roles as the CTO of ModelLogic from 2009 to 2012, CTO and Vice President of Engineering at OpenPages from 2001 to 2009, and Vice President of Advanced Products at Mercator Software from 1999 to 2001. Gary has also worked as the CTO and Vice President of Engineering at Novera Software from 1996 to 1999 and as an Engineering Manager at Sybase from 1992 to 1996.

Zakon began their career at BBN Communications in 1986, where they served as a Project Lead and pioneered the use of object-oriented technology in network management software development.
