Jessica Sartin

Jessica Sartin has a strong background in software engineering and management. Jessica started their career as an Engineering Intern at Pegasystems in 2007. Jessica then joined Deutsche Bank as part of a Major Qualifying Project, where they researched automated testing tools and implemented a Continuous Integration setup.

In 2008, Jessica became a Senior Assistant at WPI, where they worked in the Computer Science department. Jessica then returned to Pegasystems as a Software Engineer, serving as the ScrumMaster of the DCO engineering team. Jessica'srole involved facilitating scrum meetings and collaborating with product and engineering management to remove team impediments.

In 2011, Jessica joined Vistaprint as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed Internet marketing solutions for small businesses. Jessica'sresponsibilities included scoping and requirements gathering, internal documentation, and problem management.

From 2014 to 2018, Jessica worked at Kyruus in various roles. Jessica started as a Software Engineer, developing software for practice managers to configure providers for better patient-doctor matching. Jessica then took on the role of Engineering Manager, leading a small team and collaborating with the product team to build backlog and roadmap. Lastly, they became a Lead Software Engineer, developing new processes to enable smoother application feature handoffs and mentoring other engineers.

At Panorama Education, Jessica held multiple roles from 2018 to 2021. As a Senior Software Engineer, they led a group of engineers in choosing a javascript framework for their platform and built a React prototype. Jessica then transitioned into an Engineering Manager position, working on patient-provider matching. In 2020, they returned to the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Most recently, Jessica joined OnRamp in 2021 as a Senior Engineer. In this role, they enabled the engineering department to increase deployments through tooling and processes. Jessica also built a feature gating backend and designed front-end tools to allow non-engineers to manage features.

Currently, Jessica is working at Enolink as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in 2022.

Jessica Sartin holds a Master's degree in Management from the Harvard Extension School, which they obtained from 2010 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Jessica has also obtained a certification as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, although the specific date of achievement is unknown.
