Alex Drew

Alex Drew is an accomplished professional with expertise in bioengineering, mechanical engineering, and research development. Currently serving as Associate Director of Global Research & Innovation at Enovis since April 2022, Alex previously held various engineering and managerial roles, including Engineering Manager at DJO Surgical and Senior Mechanical Project Engineer. Academic contributions include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portland. Alex’s experience encompasses mechanical testing for prosthetic limbs, founding a startup focused on vocational training for youth with autism, and regulatory work with medical device startups, demonstrating a strong commitment to innovation in medical technology.
