Michael Kelly

Michael Kelly has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Michael is currently working as the Director of Equipment Engineering at ENOVIX Corporation since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at Cobalt Investment Partners from 2016 to 2021, where they focused on private equity placements in commercial real estate. From 2013 to 2019, Michael served as a Senior Manager at Tesla, overseeing production engineering and data analytics. Michael also worked as a Principal Engineer at GreenVolts in 2011, implementing product improvements in a startup company. Before that, they were a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Solyndra from 2008 to 2011, where they developed technology strategy and product roadmaps. Michael started their career at Lam Research in 2000, where they worked as a Senior Process Engineer, developing plasma etch equipment and processes for the semiconductor industry. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in engineering, project management, and product development, contributing to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.

Michael Kelly obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Rockhurst University from 1989 to 1993. Michael then pursued their PhD in Physical Chemistry at Tulane University from 1993 to 2000.
