Laura Nayman

Laura Nayman is a Principal Firmware Engineer at Enphase Energy since March 2020, with extensive experience in software and firmware engineering. Prior to this role, Laura worked at National Instruments from 2009 to March 2020, serving as Principal Software Engineer in the Precision Test Instruments division, where significant contributions included innovating performance characterization methods, refactoring C++ code generation, and resolving PID loop tuning issues. Laura also held the position of Technical Team Lead within Modular Instruments Application Software, overseeing a 20-person team and implementing key features such as a patented debugging tool and device simulation capabilities. Laura's early career included developing device drivers and improving calibration algorithms for high-speed oscilloscopes. Laura holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
