Michael Norbeck

Michael Norbeck is a seasoned professional in business development and grid services, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Business Development and Head of Grid Services for the US at Enphase since June 2021. Prior to this role, Norbeck held the position of Director of Grid Services Business Development at Sunrun, driving commercialization strategies for solar and storage technologies. Experience also includes pivotal roles at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, including Expert Product Manager, where Norbeck led initiatives for integrating Distributed Energy Resources, and Expert Program Manager in Energy Efficiency Finance, managing a substantial loan fund. Additional positions encompass leadership in sustainability programs at EMC and contributions to energy assurance planning at the US Department of Energy. Norbeck holds an MPA in Energy Policy & Economics from Indiana University and a BA in Public Policy/Environmental Studies from the University of Chicago.
