Sara Jorgenson

Cell Engineer at EnPower

Sara Jorgenson has six years of work experience. From 2022 to present, they have been a Cell Engineer at EnPower, Inc. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Graduate Student at Case School of Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at Case School of Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, where they used molecular dynamics software (GROMACS) to simulate ionic liquids in an electrochemical cell by modeling a molecular force-field and liquid system. Sara also attended and presented research at the National REU Symposium. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Resident Advisor at the University of Minnesota Duluth. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Wilderness Canoe Guide at Adventurous Christians, where they organized and led canoe trips into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and was responsible for overseeing all aspects of a weeklong wilderness adventure such as instruction and training, supplies management, navigation, and safety. Finally, from 2016 to 2017, they were a Lifeguard at The Edgewater Hotel & Waterpark.

Sara Jorgenson completed their B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2019. Sara then pursued their Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University and is expected to graduate in 2021.
