Joe Kott has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Joe currently holds the position of Vice President of Engineering at Enprotech, LLC. Prior to this, Joe served as President and CEO of Knott Brake Company (KBC) for 12 years, where they had full responsibility for finance, operations, engineering, IT, and sales functions. Joe also worked as the Chief Engineer at KBC, overseeing product life cycle and leading the engineering and product validation groups. Additionally, Joe worked as a Design Engineer at KBC, developing and analyzing components, managing new product development, and providing technical support to operations and sales. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Schaeffler, where they focused on quality assurance and audit preparations.
Joe Kott attended Cloverleaf High School from 1991 to 1995. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at the University of Cincinnati and pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1995 to 1996. Joe then transferred to Case Western Reserve University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1996 to 2001.
In 2011, Joe obtained a Lean Mastery Certification from The University of Akron. Joe also holds a Licensed Professional Engineer certification from the State of Ohio, although the specific obtained month and year are not provided.
