Andrea Cafagna

Andrea Cafagna has a diverse work experience in various companies and organizations. The most recent position held was as the Senior Business Development Director EMEA at ENPULSION, starting in January 2022. Prior to that, Andrea worked as an Expert & Team Leader for Sectorial Analyses at the Delegation of the European Union to China from June 2021 to December 2021.

Before joining the European Union delegation, Andrea served as the Coordinator for the Aviation and Aerospace Working Group (AAWG) at the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) from January 2019 to December 2021. Prior to that, Andrea gained experience in business development as the APAC Area Business Development Manager at SITAEL from September 2017 to May 2021.

Andrea also has research experience, having worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Rome Tor Vergata from July 2016 to July 2017, and at INFN (Institute for Nuclear Physics) from July 2015 to July 2017. Before that, Andrea served as a Research Fellow at the University of Trento from July 2014 to July 2016.

In addition to Andrea's professional experience, they completed their thesis work for a master's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China, from April 2011 to March 2012. During this time, Andrea developed a platform for thermal control applied to space systems and also studied the Mandarin language.
