Operations Lead at EnQuest

Martin Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Martin started their career as a Mechanical Fitter at TTE Technical Training Group, where they received mechanical training and operated machines such as lathes and milling machines. From there, they moved on to work as a Hydraulic Service Engineer at A5 Hydraulics Limited, where they manufactured, overhauled, and tested hydraulic systems.

In 2001, they joined Kvaerner as a Mechanical Fitter in a maintenance response team, where they played a key role in efficiently resolving plant failures and performing equipment overhauls. At Huntsman, they took on various roles, including Lead Operator and Production Operator/Control Room Operator, where they focused on maintaining EHS standards, resolving production issues, and monitoring and controlling process operations.

At Petrofac, Martin worked as a Process Operator, responsible for day-to-day operational tasks, monitoring equipment, and ensuring adherence to quality and consent limits on the Northern Producer floating production platform. Currently, they hold the role of Operations Lead at EnQuest, where they oversee operations and safety in the control room.

Throughout their career, Martin has gained significant experience in process operations, control room monitoring, equipment maintenance, and EHS compliance.

Martin Johnson attended Our Lady and St Bedes from 1991 to 1996, although they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during that time.
