Stevie Skene has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in the field of subsea operations and project engineering.
From 2016 to the present, Skene has been working at EnQuest as the Subsea Operations Lead. Prior to this role, Skene served as the Subsea Project & Operations Engineer from 2021 to 2023, and as the Lead Subsea Controls Engineer from 2016 to 2021.
Before joining EnQuest, Skene worked at STAVTEK LIMITED as the Director from 2012 to 2020. In this role, Skene was responsible for managing the successful delivery of subsea controls and umbilical projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle.
Skene also gained valuable experience at Apache Corporation from 2012 to 2016 as a Subsea Controls Engineer. In this role, Skene was accountable for the safe delivery of the Forties Alpha Aviat project and the FNT subsea tieback project.
Skene's early experience includes roles at Aker Solutions from 2001 to 2012, where Skene served as the Subsea Control Systems Engineer and Mechanical Specialist Engineer. Skene also held the position of Subsea Controls Team Leader in Malaysia, overseeing internal controls, materials procurement, and training. At the start of Skene's career, Skene worked as a Test & Assembly Technician, building and testing subsea control hardware.
