Kalon Armstrong, P.Eng, MBA has a diverse range of professional experiences. Kalon is currently serving as the Manager of Business Development at Enriched Ag since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at CNSRVX-Inc as the Director of Special Projects, where they successfully planned and executed pilot projects for real-world implementations of A.I. technologies from February 2021 to May 2021.

From July 2019 to February 2021, Kalon held the position of Director of Business Development at Carmanah Signs, a Division of STRATACACHE, where they demonstrated their expertise in cultivating partnerships and establishing strategic business opportunities.

As a Partner and Co-Founder at Catalyst Venture Consulting, they played a pivotal role in providing full-stack management consulting services, catering primarily to high-growth small businesses and startups across Canada. Their involvement in this venture lasted from August 2018 to July 2019.

Before their consulting career, Kalon served as the Chief Business Officer at QwidgetCo from October 2017 to March 2018. This role provided him with valuable experience in leading business operations and driving growth.

Kalon also gained consulting experience while working at Deloitte from May 2017 to August 2017. As a Consultant in Tech Strategy and Architecture, they helped clients navigate complex technological challenges.

From June 2014 to July 2016, Kalon worked as a Professional Engineer in Commercial Operations at TC Energy, where they oversaw various engineering projects. Prior to this, they held Engineering-in-Training positions in System Design and Gas Quality & Measurement Integrity at TC Energy from 2012 to 2014.

Kalon’s early professional experiences include internships at TC Energy, where they gained hands-on experience in areas such as Regulatory Research and Analysis and System Design - Mainline Planning West, during the summers of 2010 and 2011 respectively.

Notably, Kalon also showcased their exceptional leadership skills during their time as a Team Leader at the University of Alberta in 2009, where they spearheaded award-winning projects at prestigious international competitions.

Kalon Armstrong, P.Eng, MBA has a diverse education history. Kalon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Alberta, which they completed from 2005 to 2009. Following this, Kalon pursued further studies in Chemical Engineering and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta between 2009 and 2012.

In 2016, Kalon began their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) studies at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, which they successfully completed in 2018.

Additionally, Kalon has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional credentials. Kalon passed the Level 1 Exam of the CFA Program in December 2018, conducted by the CFA Institute. In October 2012, they passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE Exam) offered by NCEES. Furthermore, they obtained a Private Pilot's License from Transport Canada in the same year.
