Neil Fernandes

Neil Fernandes has extensive work experience in various roles related to AI, data science, and logistics. Neil is currently the Founder of Enroute AI, a SaaS solution for simplifying last-mile logistics using AI-powered route optimization. Prior to this, Neil worked at Accenture AI as a Data Science Lead in Supply Chain and Operations, where they developed AI and machine learning solutions for Fortune 100 companies in industries such as logistics, retail, big tech, and semiconductors.

Before their time at Accenture AI, Neil worked at OPS Rules, where they served as an Associate and later as a Senior Analyst. OPS Rules implemented cutting-edge research for clients worldwide and was acquired by Accenture Digital in 2016. Neil also implemented a Dynamic Pricing system for B2W Digital, a top online retailer in Latin America, during their time at OPS Rules.

Neil began their career as an Engineer in Research and Development at Bajaj Auto Ltd, where they played a crucial role in the successful launch of the KTM Duke 125 and Pulsar 200 NS Motorcycle Projects. Their responsibilities included project management, budgeting, time estimation, and coordination between the research and development teams at KTM Austria and Bajaj India.

In addition to their professional experience, Neil has also worked as a Student Consultant at the A.T. Kearney Michigan Student Lab, where they built time series forecasting and inventory models for an aircraft maintenance provider, resulting in significant time and cost savings.

Neil Fernandes received their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka in the years 2006 to 2010. Neil then pursued further education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from 2012 to 2014.
