Andrew Jonelis has over 40 years of work experience, starting with a career in the US Navy as a Radioman Chief Petty Officer. Andrew then transitioned to a career in the private sector, holding various roles in information systems security and cybersecurity. Andrew has worked for companies such as ENSCO, Inc., L3Harris Technologies, Yoh (A Day & Zimmermann Company), Leidos, SAIC, and Electronic Data Systems. Andrew'sroles have included Information Systems Security Engineer, Information System Security Officer, Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, IT Security Systems Engineer, Information Systems Deployment Coordinator, Deployment Migration Planning Team Manager, and Senior Project Analyst. Andrew has a strong background in coordinating deployment activities, conducting site surveys, and performing continuous monitoring of network systems.

Andrew Jonelis has a history of education in computer technology and security. Andrew attended the Academy of Computer Education, where they studied CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+. Andrew also received training in Host Based Security System (HBSS) Administration from McAfee Vendor Training. In 2012, Andrew obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In 2014, they attended the SANS Institute to learn about implementing and auditing the Critical Security Controls in depth. Andrew also holds additional certifications such as A+, Network+, and Security+ from CompTIA, as well as the GAIC GCCC certification from the SANS Institute.
