Jon Voss

Scientist III at ENSCO

Jon Voss has a diverse range of work experience in scientific and engineering roles. Jon most recently worked at ENSCO, Inc. as a Scientist III, where they created algorithms with large datasets, processed digital signals, and found unique solutions to challenging issues. Prior to this, Jon worked as a Graduate Researcher at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, where they collected geophysical data, processed it with Aarhus Workbench, and utilized Python to translate lithology data for subsurface mapping. Jon also gained experience as a Geophysicist Intern at ENSCO, Inc. and as a Student Hydrologist at the U.S. Geological Survey, where they coauthored publications, generated flood inundation maps, and implemented hydraulic and hydrologic models. Earlier in their career, Jon worked as an Electrical Engineer Intern at Kiewit, where they wrote circuits, conducted safety studies, and analyzed transformer impedances.

Jon Voss earned a Bachelor's degree in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, which they attended from 2017 to 2021. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same institution and is expected to complete it by 2022.
