Sean Wuxiong Cao

Sean Wuxiong Cao has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Sean Wuxiong began their career in 2016 as the Managing Director of CBC Group, the Venture Partner of I-Bridge Capital, and the Chief Business Officer of I-Mab Biopharma. Additionally, they were the President and Board Director of Simcere of America, Inc. In 2017, they became the Chairman of the Board and Executive Chairman of NiKang Therapeutics Inc. and the CEO and co-founder of Everest Medicines. In 2020, they were the Executive Director and co-founder of Jadeite Medicines. In 2021, they were the Executive Director of RVAC Medicines, the Interim CEO and co-founder of ABio-X, and the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Ensem Therapeutics.

Sean Wuxiong Cao received their B.S. in Microbiology from Nankai University in 1988. Sean Wuxiong then went on to receive their Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Virginia in 1996. In 2007, they completed their MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
