Kimberly Pennington Msn

Kimberly Pennington MSN, RN, CCDS has extensive experience in clinical documentation and health care consulting. Since November 2015, Kimberly has served as a CDI/DRG Auditor at Ardent, focusing on CDI/HII reviews, and as an Independent Consultant offering legal nurse consulting services that include chart and medical record reviews, quality of care assessments, and medical necessity evaluations. Prior to that, Kimberly worked for Bon Secours Health System from June 1987 to November 2015 as a Clinical Documentation Specialist. Kimberly holds a Master's degree in Nursing Education from Walden University (2013) and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Shawnee State University (2008), complemented by completion of the Bon Secours Kentucky Faith Community Nurse Foundations Course in 2015.
