Gerald Otim

Gerald Otim has a strong background in the fintech industry and has proven experience in leadership roles. Gerald was the CEO of Ensibuuko, a leading Uganda-based fintech company focused on financial inclusion in Africa. As CEO, they built a skilled team and successfully executed the company's vision and growth strategy. Prior to that, they served as the COO of Ensibuuko from 2014 to 2017.

Before their time at Ensibuuko, Gerald worked at Educate! as a Senior Design Specialist. Gerald played a key role in designing a skills-based education and employment program that focused on entrepreneurship and financial skills training in Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda. Throughout their career, Gerald has demonstrated a passion for addressing social and economic challenges in Africa through innovative solutions.

Gerald Otim attended Makerere University from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Development Economics.
