Icaro Torres

Icaro Torres has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and testing. Icaro began their career in 2007 as a Junior Automation Test Analyst at Grupo HDI, where they learned how to automate tests for desktop and web applications. Icaro also emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving good results. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at Tech For TI as a Test Analyst, focusing on implementing automated tests and collaborating closely with developers. At Valor Econômico S/A, they served as an Automation Test Analyst and was responsible for implementing automated tests. Over time, the test team grew to seven members, and they divided tasks and projects according to each person's skills.

In 2011, Torres joined Spring Mobile Solutions as a Test Analyst II, where they gained experience in mobile development and testing. Icaro worked in a Scrum team of three testers, executing automated tests on Windows Mobiles and web services.

In 2014, Torres pursued a freelance role as a 3D Artist/Designer at IcoStudio, creating and designing mobile games independently. The following year, they joined EasyRoommate as a QA Engineer, working in a Scrum environment and utilizing tools like Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.

In 2016, Torres became a QA Team Leader at London Capital Group, where they used their expertise in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, GitHub, and Visual Studio to improve and manage the existing framework and build a QA team. Icaro also worked on languages like C#, Javascript, and Java.

Most recently, Torres joined Fourth as a QA Architect in 2016, responsible for managing and implementing quality assurance practices. Icaro worked with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub, TeamCity, Visual Studio, and SpecFlow.

In 2020, Torres joined Amido as a Senior Consultant.

Icaro Torres has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Centro Universitário Fundação Santo André, which they obtained between 2008 and 2011. Icaro also has a certification in Animation from Art Academia, which they obtained in 2012 and 2013. Additionally, they have a certification in 3D Game Development from Saga - School of Art, Game, and Animation, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Icaro Torres has also obtained various certifications in specific skills such as programming, testing, and various Autodesk software applications.
