Mark Comerford has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Mark is currently working as a QA Consultant at Ensono Digital since March 2021. Prior to this, Mark worked at Systum Inc. as a QA Automation Lead from January 2018 to February 2021, where they were responsible for building and maintaining an automation test framework for both API's and Web UI. Mark also led a team of 3 other automation testers and helped plan and review their work.

Before Systum Inc., Mark served as a Lead Test Engineer at Lavastorm from February 2015 to January 2018. Mark began their career at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe in 2006, where they held various roles including Functional Test Lead, QA Assistant Lead Tester, and QA Tester. In these positions, they coordinated functional and functionality testing on different titles, conducted manual testing, and assisted with test case creation and work assignment.

In addition to their experience in the software industry, Mark also worked as a Service Engineer at Merseyside Cash Registers in 2006. In this role, they repaired, serviced, and updated cash registers at customer premises.

From 2003 to 2005, they attended St Helens College where they obtained a Foundation degree in Computer Games Production. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, they also attended St Helens College and earned a National Diploma in Computer Software. Mark's earlier education took place at Haydock High School from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained 6 GCSE's.

In addition to their formal education, Mark obtained additional certifications. Mark became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021. Mark also received a certification in Foundation Software Testing from ISTQB, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
