Ross Aubrey-Smith

Ross Aubrey-Smith has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance (QA) and consultancy.

Ross is currently working at Ensono Digital as a Lead Consultant (QA) since July 2021.

Prior to that, they worked at Arup as a Service Lead from October 2019 to July 2021.

Before Arup, they were employed at Amido, where they held the positions of Senior Consultant (QA) from April 2019 to October 2019 and Consultant (QA) from December 2017 to April 2019.

Ross also worked at Arup as a Senior QA Analyst from February 2016 to November 2017.

One of their earlier roles was at Abacus e-Media as a QA Specialist from July 2013 to February 2016, where they developed a UI test framework, administered Jira, and provided Agile Scrum and Kanban coaching.

Ross started their career at MDSL as a Junior QA Analyst from November 2011 to June 2013.

Ross Aubrey-Smith's education history begins with their attendance at The King's School in Ottery St Mary, where they completed their education in 2007. Following this, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Multimedia Technology & Design at the University of Kent from 2008 to 2011, with a focus on Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Ross Aubrey-Smith has obtained several certifications. In August 2017, they became a Certified Tester Advanced Level, Technical Test Analyst through the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In March 2012, they achieved the Certified Tester Foundation Level certification, also from the ISTQB. In November 2019, they received the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert.

More recently, Ross Aubrey-Smith obtained the DevOps Foundations: Monitoring and Observability certification from LinkedIn in June 2020. In October 2020, they acquired the OpenHack: DevOps certification from Microsoft OpenHack. Additionally, in May 2021, they became a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
