Jay Tu

Jay Tu has over 25 years of experience in operations and manufacturing, with a strong focus on RFID technology. Currently serving as VP of Operations at Ensurge since October 2021, Jay's previous roles include VP of Operations at Alien Technology, where tenure spanned from September 2011 to October 2021. Jay has also held various positions at Alien Technology, including Vice President and Sr. Director of Manufacturing Operations, overseeing RFID tag and reader manufacturing, quality, and supply chain operations. Earlier in the career, roles included Logistics at Proteus Biomedical, Inc., and several manufacturing-focused positions at Alien Technology, demonstrating expertise in transitioning processes from pilot to high-volume production. Jay holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.
