Paula Nelson MBA has over 30 years of experience in finance and healthcare administration. Paula most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at ENT Partners, where they provided strategic partnership opportunities for physicians and managed various aspects of practice management. Prior to that, they were the President of Abdo-Nelson Healthcare Consulting, where they shared their expertise with the next generation of financial managers and worked on consulting projects related to cost-based reimbursement and budgets.
Paula also has experience as the CFO of Meridian Behavioral Health, where they oversaw financial reporting, strategic planning, and revenue cycle management for mental health and chemical dependency programs in multiple states. Paula served as the Interim CFO at the Community Health Center of Central Wyoming and provided leadership in stabilizing finance, IT, and revenue cycle during a transitional period.
Earlier in their career, Paula held finance and leadership positions at University of Minnesota's Medical School, Universal Health Services, Queen of Peace Hospital, and St. John's/St. Ansgar Hospital. Paula also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of St. Francis, teaching finance and economics courses to graduate students in healthcare administration.

Paula Nelson MBA completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead from 1981 to 1985. Paula further pursued their education at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, where they obtained an MBA in Executive MBA from 1996 to 1999.
