Kimberly Bowen has a diverse work experience in the field of bio and medical research. Kimberly currently serves as a Senior Scientist at Entact Bio since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Investigator I at H3 Biomedicine from April 2021 to October 2022. Before that, they were a Research Scientist at Zikani Therapeutics from April 2020 to April 2021.
Between 2013 and 2019, Kimberly worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where they focused on cell and molecular biology. Kimberly developed a tool for depleting specific proteins from cells.
Starting their career at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research in 2010, Kimberly worked as a Scientific Associate II from March 2012 to July 2013 and as a Scientific Associate I from July 2010 to March 2012.
Prior to that, they conducted research as a Researcher at Northwestern University from September 2007 to June 2010, studying the role of Ammonia Monooxygenase in Nitrosomonas Europaea.
Kimberly also briefly worked as a Researcher at Novartis in 2009.
Kimberly Bowen completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Northwestern University from the years 2006 to 2010. Later, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating from 2013 to 2019.
