James Colburn

James Colburn is a seasoned professional in corporate development and investment banking, currently serving as the Group Corporate Development Director and Head of M&A at Entain since March 2021. Prior to this role, James held the position of Head of Group Corporate Strategy at GVC Group from June 2019 to March 2021. James's extensive experience in investment banking includes a tenure as Director of UK Investment Banking at Barclays Investment Bank from October 2009 to June 2019, and roles as an Investment Analyst at Principle Capital and an Investment Banking Associate at Citigroup. James earned a Master of Engineering degree with honors in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol between 1997 and 2001.
