Ron Edwards

Ron Edwards has a diverse range of experience in the field of learning and development. Their most recent position was with Entain as Head of Learning, where they led the learning initiatives for the company. Before that, they served as the Global Head of Commercial Development - L&D at Technicolor Creative Studios, where they transformed training delivery and established new learning technology infrastructure. Prior to that, they were the Head of Learning Solutions at Ashorne Hill and the Global Partnerships Director at Hive Learning. Ron has also worked as a Consultant, advising clients on augmented reality and virtual reality product development for training applications. Ron has held leadership positions at Serious Games International Ltd, QA Ltd, and Ambient Performance, where they led teams and developed innovative learning solutions. Additionally, Ron has experience in the corporate sector, working at Unilever as the Global Head of eLearning and in various training and development roles. Ron has a strong background in digital learning and technology integration, and a history of driving growth and innovation in the learning industry.

Ron Edwards holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Training & Development from Loyola University Chicago, which they obtained from 1994 to 1997. Ron also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science from the University of Washington, which they received from 1984 to 1990. In addition, Ron has obtained various certifications, including "Career Essentials in Generative AI" by Microsoft and LinkedIn in 2023, "Fellow 2019" by The Learning and Performance Institute in 2016, "Introduction to Guitar" from Coursera in 2014, and "Gamification" through Coursera Verified Certificates in 2013.
