Brendan served as the Director of Business Development and Sales at Analytical Biological Services Inc. from January 2008 to 2010, and as a Senior Business Development Manager from October 2002 to January 2008. At Analytical Biological Services Inc., Brendan was responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing client deals and acted as a scientific liaison between researchers and labs. Brendan also started their career as a Regular Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from September 2001 to September 2002.

Brendan Lucey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Carleton College in 1996. Brendan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Population Biology, Evolution, and Ecology from Emory University from 1998 to 2001. Prior to their college education, they attended Princeton Day School.
