Frank Onyemauwa

Frank Onyemauwa is an experienced R&D professional currently serving as the R&D Director at Zymergen, where responsibilities include leading multi-disciplinary teams to conduct research using Green Chemistry principles and overseeing various R&D programs. Prior to this, Frank was a Senior Principal Scientist at Pall Corporation, where contributions included product roadmap development, media development for trace metal ion removal in lithography solvents, and mentoring junior scientists. With a strong background at Pall Corporation as a Principal Scientist, Senior Research Scientist, and Research Scientist, Frank has led the design and synthesis of new polymeric materials and chromatographic technologies. Earlier career roles involved research at UNC Chapel Hill as a Postdoctoral Associate and QA/QC Chemist at Halocarbon. Frank holds a BS in Chemistry from Augusta State University and further education from Georgia Institute of Technology.
