Kathryn (Kat) Garvey is a skilled biomedical engineer currently employed at EnteroTrack, LLC since August 2020, while also serving as Program Coordinator for the BioEngineering Empowerment Program (BEEP) since the same date. Kathryn holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, as well as a Bachelor of Science in the same field obtained from the same institution between 2017 and 2021.

EnteroTrack
With the Esophageal String Test™, physicians can easily and routinely monitor patients who suffer from eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), without endoscopy or biopsy. The test utilizes the EnteroTracker®, a small capsule that collects fluid/mucous (liquid biopsy) from the upper gastrointestinal tract of adults or pediatric patients. The sample is analyzed using a lab-developed test, and results are provided back to the physician.
